SAUNDERS IS A "SCHOOL TO WATCH"
Please read the details of this great recognition.
www.middlegradesforum.org

On Friday, March 27, 2015, Saunders Middle School will be officially re-designated as a "Schools To Watch".

Saunders' success with student learning, emotional and social development, and making the whole-child a priority is not new to this mid-County 6th†through 8th grade school.

The community of more than 1,100 students come each and every day knowing they have a "voice" which is consistently heard as part of the decision-making processes.

Parents use and access their school as the community-based resource that it is. Their commitment in choosing to remain at a traditional middle school when they have options for local "specialty" schools is a testament.

Teachers who have remained steadfast in their loyalty to the school for more than twenty years have continued to add to the rich legacy of Saunders.

Our students demonstrate the SPARTAN values and represent our shared brand with honor.

Saunders' FIRST-EVER "PRESS YOUR LUCK" Bingo/Raffle WAS A HUGE SUCCESS!!!

Saunders School Broadcast Program Parent Information

Saunders Middle School is going LIVE and ON DEMAND!

PWCS has provided all schools with the equipment and resources to stream live video and video on demand. Saunders plans explore the possibilities and potential these resources offer our students and parents in allowing them to experience school events that they are unable to attend or would simply like to see for a second time. Such events might include Pep Rallies, Sporting events, concerts, morning announcements and other student created and produced school related broadcasts.

Regulation 790-3 for PWCS, which explains the option to and procedure for parents to opt their student out of photography and videotaping, which includes live stream, is explained in the PWCS Code of Behavior that is signed by parents each school year. However, if you did not sign the opt out form and meant to, you can access it here and must have it returned to Saunders by 11/13/2014, next Thursday, which is when we will start using this resource. We look forward to giving you a peek into the happenings at Saunders Middle School through our live and on demand stream. Once we are up and running, more information about how to access the site will be posted.
